- Purchase your level 28 skills.
- Try to find a group for Scarlet Monastery. Use the Group Finder with 'i', or ask for help in /LookingForGroup or /lfg chat depending on your server. This is the minimum level to pickup the Scarlet Monastery Library quest Compendium of the Fallen from Thunder Bluff.
- Back in Thousand Needles, be on the lookout for Steelsnap and his crew of Pesterhide Snarlers as you head west to Highperch for Windrider.
- Once you get up to Highperch start killing Highperch Wyveryns and Consorts and gathering Highperch Wyvern Eggs for Wind Rider. Once you gather all of the eggs go east to find an escort quest Homeward Bound from Pao'ka Swiftmountain. Escort him out.
- Head back to Freewind Post to turn in Alien Egg, Pacify the Centaur, and Wind Rider quests. Accept new quests Serpent Wild and Grimtotem Spying.
- Head to Whitereach Post to hand in Serpent Wild and get Sacred Fire. Head over to collect Incendia Agave for Sacred Fire. Watch your breath in the water when collecting agave and dealing with the elementals.
- After you are done there is a ramp nearby to the west marked with a totem that should take you up to the bluffs above for the quest Grimtotem Spying.
- Find all the three secret notes on each of the bluffs and kill any Grimtotem along the way. Travel across the bridge to the east to find Arnak Grimtotem. Kill him for Wanted - Arnak Grimtotem and rescue Lakota Windsong to start her escort quest Free at Last.
- After you finish escorting her out, head south to the Screeching Harpy cave to kill Screeching Harpies and Grenka for Test of Endurance.
- Hand in your Thousand Needles quests, as well as Steelsnap and Sacred Fire in Thunder Bluff at some point, and you should be close to level 29. Otherwise, keep killing.
