πŸ“œ Guide

  1. Try to find a dungeon group for Lower Blackrock Spire or Dire Maul: East, a very underrated dungeon. You can easily find help from level 60 tanks or miners interested in the 2-4 Rich Thorium veins at the very end.
  2. If you are doing a full Dire Maul East run, grab Pusillin and the Elder Azj'Tordin before going, from the Night Elf sitting in the structure north of Camp Mojache in Feralas, which is the back-entrance to DM:E. Once inside the dungeon from the front-entrance, speak with Pusillin to start his event and follow him until he stops, then speak with him again. At the end he drops the cooking Recipe: Runn Tum Tuber Surprise, Crescent Key (which unlocks the doors for Dire Maul North and West), and Book of Incantations, completing Pusillin and the Elder Azj'Tordin.
  3. Explore and quest in the Burning Steppes. Grab the flightpath and quests at Flame Crest like The Rise of the Machines and the following dungeon quests for Lower Blackrock Spire: Kibler's Exotic Pets and En-Ay-Es-Tee-Why. Skip Mother's Milk unless the whole group is trying to do that quest.
  4. Head back to Silithus to quest. Grab The Twilight Mystery, Stepping up Security, Noggle's Last Hope, and (if you have level 285 or above cooking) Desert Recipe from Cenarion Hold.
  5. Kill the required mobs around the area and try to grab the Torn Recipe Page for Desert Recipe from the Twilight Camp nearby to the west. Afterwards, head to the north-west corner of Silithus for The Twilight Mystery fragments. The Desert Rumblers in this area are good to farm for Essence of Earth, Elemental Earth, and Core of Earth, which are all quite useful for crafting and professions. Likewise, the Dust Stormers drop Essence of Air, Elemental Air, and Breath of Wind.
  6. Return to Cenarion Hold and hand in all of the quests and you should be level 57. Keep grinding or head to Winterspring if not.
  7. If you are a cook, after you complete Desert Recipe and turn in Sharing the Knowledge, you will learn how to create Smoked Desert Dumplings. The follow-up quest Kitchen Assistance is probably not worth doing.
  8. Head to Winterspring to work on Winterfall Activity and other quests detailed at level 58 for Juju buffs.

πŸ’‘ Tips

  • Purchase Level 56 skills
  • Dire Maul: East has 2-4 Rich Thorium veins at the end for miners
  • For cooks do the full Pusillin run for Recipe: Runn Tum Tuber Surprise, which believe it or not is the best food buff for caster dps, giving them 10 intellect for 10 minutes. Sell them on the AH or give them to your caster friends one at a time as a cute gift
  • Grab the reagent Runn Tum Tubers from the Warpwood Pods seen around the dungeon
  • Get Sandworm Meat from the Dredge Strikers and Dredge Crushers in Silithus. It's a cooking reagent for Smoked Desert Dumplings, the best food buff for melee, giving 20 strength for 15 minutes. Sell them on the AH or give them to your melee friends one at a time as a cute gift
