📜 Guide

  1. Try to find a group for Scarlet Monastery Cathedral or Razorfen Downs. Complete Into The Scarlet Monastery and Bring the End to get some blue (rare) quest rewards. Use the Group Finder with 'i', or ask for help in /LookingForGroup or /lfg chat depending on your server.
  2. If you've made it to the Badlands, grab Badlands Reagent Run and Study of the Elements: Rock, which will take you all around the Badlands hunting the various enemies in the area like the Rock Elementals and Elder Crag Coyotes.
  3. If you are a miner the Badlands is a good zone to mine Iron and Mithril Ore. On top of that you can farm Rock Elementals for Solid Stone which is used in Blacksmithing and Engineering.
  4. Do anything you can to grind it out to level 40. Cleanup any quests you have left in Desolace, the Badlands, Arathi Highlands, and Alterac Mountains. Go to your favorite spot to kill level 39 enemies or try to find a group for a dungeon.
  5. Head to Swamp of Sorrows and grab the quest chain Lack of Surplus that will have you killing Sawtooth Crocolisk and Sawtooth Snappers in the area.
  6. In Desolace farm the demons at Mannoroc Coven.
  7. In Arathi Highlands, farm the various elementals such as the Thundering Exiles.
  8. In the Alterac Mountains, farm Syndicate Enforcers or try the elite Crushridge Ogres again.
  9. Back in Stranglethorn Vale, the Skullsplitter Warriors and Axe Throwers for Skullsplitter Tusks are level 39.
  10. Start to explore level 40 zones like Feralas or Tanaris, however it's recommend to get a mount at level 40 first.
