  1. Get a dungeon group going for Zul'Farrak or Maraudon. Use the Group Finder with 'i', or ask for help in /LookingForGroup or /lfg chat depending on your server. For example: 'LFM Maraudon - Need tank and healer'. Before heading into Maraudon grab Corruption of Earth and Seed in Desolace right outside Shadowprey Village. The Thrash Blade sword is a reward well worth the effort for melee classes.
  2. Travel west of the Badlands to reach Searing Gorge. Head to the north and then west until you see the Human quest giver Velarok Windblande and listen to his tale before he gives you The Flawless Flame.
  3. Go a little further north-west to reach Thorium Point. Grab the flight path and the quests JOB OPPORTUNITY: CULLING THE COMPETITION, Stolen: Smithing Tuyere and Lookout's Spyglass, Incendosaurs? Whateverosaur is More Like It, Fiery Menace, and Curse These Fat Fingers before heading out to start working on the Dark Iron enemies in the area.
  4. Alternatively, explore a new zone, Azshara, east of Ashenvale. Get the quest A Land Filled with Hatred as you enter. The flightpath is north at a small Horde camp.
  5. Continue questing in The Hinterlands with Cannibalistic Cousins, Hunt the Savages, and Stalking the Stalkers as well as any other quests from Revantusk Village.
  6. Keep grinding in Tanaris.
  7. Keep grinding in Feralas.

  • Searing Gorge is pretty straight-forward in terms of questing, but understand that there is a large underground area right underneath the northern part of the gorge where we are questing above-ground, so Questie icons on the map may overlap or look confusing
  • For now, skip Overseer Maltorius and What the Flux? unless you have some good help. He is a level 50 elite with two level 48 elite adds who can net or ensnare you
