- Start questing in the Searing Gorge. From Thorium Point, grab JOB OPPORTUNITY: CULLING THE COMPETITION, Stolen: Smithing Tuyere and Lookout's Spyglass, Incendosaurs? Whateverosaur is More Like It, Fiery Menace, and Curse These Fat Fingers before heading out.
- Kill quest objectives along the outskirts of the gorge: Heavy War Golems, Dark Iron Slavers, and Dark Iron Steamsmiths. Watch out for the level 48 elites in the watchtowers. Head deeper into the gorge via ramp or elevator for more Dark Iron enemies.
- Once done, make your way back outside and kill Blazing Elementals. Then towards the north, go back into the tunnels or jump down if you see the lava and the Incendosaurs. Get ready to kill 20 of them.
- Hand in all of the Searing Gorge quests and you should hit level 49.
- Alternatively discover Un'Goro Crater, a new zone west of Tanaris. Quests are located at the Marshal's Refuge in the north of the zone.
- Head to Azshara, east of Ashenvale. Get the quest A Land Filled with Hatred as you enter. The flightpath is north at a small Horde camp.
